Pat O’Brien drives into town with 3rd Chevrolet dealership
On May 1, O’Brien opened his third Chevrolet dealership at 3880 Pearl Road, Medina Township.
Two years ago, he bought his first, located on the east side of Cleve-land in Willoughby Hills. In September 2006, he bought his second on the west side in Westlake.
“There (were) so many people coming from Medina … to the east store and the west store,” O’Brien said, adding Medina is the “perfect south location.”
“This way, (customers) won’t have to drive as far to get the same great selection,” he said.
Formerly Gallucci Chevrolet, the dealership used to have approximately 50 cars on the lot, O’Brien related.
Three days after it officially became Pat O’Brien Chevrolet, the dealership boasted 350, he said. “The inventory is what makes it special.”
In addition to expanding inventory, O’Brien said sales tripled within a year at the Willoughby Hills dealership. Within six months of purchasing the location in Westlake, sales doubled.
O’Brien attributed his success to “upfront pricing.”
“Our best price is on the (vehicle’s) window,” O’Brien said. “You don’t have to hassle (or) negotiate. You don’t have to go through all the games. It makes (buying a vehicle) fast and easy. It’s a good way to buy.”
Pat O’Brien Chevrolet is open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. For information, call 330-725-4588.
